2 Chainz Checks Out A $500K Pimped Up DeLorean Time Machine Rebuilt By West Coast Customs
With the 30th anniversary of Back to the Future upon us what better time to celebrate the event, if you have the money, by seeking out the ultimate DeLorean time machine. Lets face it, when the movie first came out it was every young boys (and adults) dream car.
West Coast Customs is the place that Xzibit would take ordinary folks' cars to get suped up into garish pimp mobiles in a certain MTV show (which was all supposedly a rotten lie, btw). And it's also the place where 2 Chainz heads to in this episode of GQ’s Most Expensive Shit video series to check out a $500K DeLorean.
This ridiculously expensive car is modified to the max. West Coast Custom's CEO Ryan Friedlinghaus explains to 2 Chainz that they pretty much "remade" it, widening the whole vehicle eight inches, putting in Back to the Future brake lights, and replacing the crappy go-kart engine with a proper one, a Corvette one.
While there 2 Chainz checks out a few other cars they have in the showroom too, which includes a real-life Mario kart, a pink mini with 100,000 Swarovski crystal roof, a Chrome-wrapped Audi with LED wheel rings, and a Will.i.am co-designed purple future-mobile.
If you can dream it, basically they can build it.
