$500million Mega Mansion Being Built In LA Will Be The Largest And Most Expensive Home In The US
An epic mega mansion is under construction in Bel-Air, Los Angeles. It's being built by Hollywood producer Nile Niami (his IMDB page has one, rather telling, comment which begins, "I work in a restaurant in L.A. and just want to let everyone know that this guy is really a jerk.") and will encompass 100,000 square feet featuring a 74,000 square-foot main house with three smaller homes Bloomberg reports.
It will also feature a Monaco-style casino, a 5,000-square-foot master bedroom, a 5,000-square-foot guesthouse with 180-foot infinity pool, a 30-car garage, an 8,500-square-foot nightclub, 45 seater IMAX movie theater, 20,000-square-foot of synthetic grass, three outdoor pools, tennis court, bowling alley, spa and gym with indoor pool, and a 3,000-square-foot "sky deck" rooftop.
In case you get bored of that they'll be 360-degree views of the Pacific Ocean, downtown L.A., Beverly Hills, and the San Fernando Valley. And they'll be an underwater-style room with three walls covered in jellyfish tanks, plus eight-bedroom quarters for your staff (of course), with neighbors which include Elon Musk, Jennifer Aniston, and Nancy Reagan.
All this can be yours for the small sum of $500 million which, if it sells at that price, will be the most expensive home in US history. It's also set to be the largest, beating a 90,000-square-foot chateau in Windermere, Florida called Versailles which is currently being built for David Siegel, founder and CEO of Westgate Resorts.
