Corgi Beach Party - 600 Adorable Dogs Converge On Huntington Beach California For A Mutt-Fest
When it come to having a beach party it seems the members of the dog world aren't that much different than us humans when it comes to getting together and having fun by the ocean.
Three times a year at Huntington Dog Beach corgis descend on the area for So Cal Corgi Beach Day, it's one big party where corgis and their owners chill in the sun and enjoy each other's company.
The latest event took place on 9 April and saw around 600 corgis in attendance. That's quite a turnout.
The event is officially hosted by Mr. Pickles, a corgi of course, and as well as meet and greeting it's just like a typical party with activities that include a kissing booth, a talent show, limbo dancing, fancy dress, and of course the 'Best Corgi Butt' competition (why am i not surprised by any of this?).
The beach party has been taking place since 2012 and started with just 15 corgis.
Last fall's meetup had over 800. This event was their spring one, they'll have another in summer and in fall.
