How many times has a grandparent or relative said to you, "You look just like your mother/father/family dog"? - Of if you are a new parent the constant (well-meaning) comments from friends and family of, "he/she-it has your eyes, nose, ears, hair, bad temper, etc", you know the sort of thing. It's often the case that, if you're a parent, as your little bundle of joy grows up you might be blind to how much your child looks like you or your partner. Scary thought, eh?
