Anonymous Declares 'Total War' On Donald Trump, Urges People To Attack His Websites
As the great George R.R. Martin (A Game of Thrones author) once said, “The unseen enemy is always the most fearsome.” Unfortunately for Donald Trump, Hackers Anonymous are reviving their #OpTrump which last year saw the collective crash the Trump Chicago website and this year leaked some of his his voicemail messages.
In a video published earlier this month they declare "total war" on the tycoon and want to "dismantle" his presidential campaign by exposing "what he doesn’t want the public to know."
They also ask that people help take down his personal and property websites, and sites that are supporting his campaign. Particularly they ask people to target trumpchicago.com on 1 April. They've also published his social security number, cellphone, and other personal information—all unverified though.
The group targeted Trump last year because of his comments about Muslims and have said they're targeting him again because his "inconsistent and hateful campaign has not only shocked the United States of America, you have shocked the entire planet with your appalling actions and ideas."
The group also say, "We have been watching you for a long time and what we’ve seen is deeply disturbing. You don’t stand for anything but your personal greed and power.
“This is a call to arms. Shut down his websites, research and expose what he doesn’t want the public to know. We need you to dismantle his campaign and sabotage his brand. This is a declaration of total war. OperationTrump engaged.”
Whether it will have any impact on his popularity, none of their previous attacks have, will remain to be seen.
