Apple Emoji Will Finally Be Multicultural In Their Latest Mobile Operating System Update
Not sure why it's taken so long, but in the new OSX Yosemite and iOS 8.3 update which will be making their debuts in late Spring, Apple users will finally be able to use multicultural emojis with the addition of a skin tone modifier.
As well as being able to choose from different races, the update will also see same-sex couples, different family groupings, an iWatch, an iPhone 6, 32 country-specific flags, and more—bringing the total number of emoji to 300.
Hopefully this diversification of the Apple emojis will usher in a new era of peace and understanding and joy to all beings on earth. Then again, maybe not.
