Artist Cheyenne Randall Gives Iconic Movie Stars And Celebrities Photoshopped Tattoos
For artist Cheyenne Randall tattoos maketh the celebrity. And if they don't have tattoos, well, not a problem in the slightest, he just adds them on using Photoshop. That's the idea behind his series Shopped Tattoo which sees iconic celebs get some body modification.
Whether it's placing them on a film character or on photos of the celebs themselves, Randall photoshops the tats so well, you have to look twice to check they're fake.
The images for the tattoos aren't just chosen at random either, Randall says they're carefully selected to tell a story or make a cheeky reference to the celeb's status.
A photoshopped image of Prince William for instance sees the next in line to England's throne with an Illuminati eye-in-the-triangle tat on his hand.
"I've always been interested in tattooing," Randall explained to Today. "I started out by drawing tattoos on certain personalities in magazines and wanted to step it up. I taught myself Photoshop and thus began a slight obsession with seeing out of pure curiosity what some of my favorite iconic personalities would look like perhaps if they were in a parallel universe or took another path in life. Really I just let my imagination run wild."
