'Photo Invader' - Artist Lucas Levitan Adds Fun Illustrations To Other People's Photographs

Have you ever seen somebody else's Instagram pictures and thought they could do with some additions to make them a little bit more fun and less pretentious?

If you have you're not alone, because illustrator Lucas Levitan has gone one step further. The London-based Brazilian has made a habit of augmenting strangers' pics with his funny doodles.

He's a se;f-confessed 'phot invader', using other people's Instagram pictures as a canvas for his own creative fun is his current passion, and looking at the hilarious results we are glad he takes his work non-seriously.

"Photo Invasion is my Instagram project." he says, "I steal photos and add an illustrative touch." Levitan posts his results to Instagram and Facebook and even has a book out.

Most of the invasions are clever, comical, and absurd turning a serious photo into something much more ridiculous. But if you are the author of the photograph, you could look at it as something of a compliment rather than anything offensive.

The doodles are certainly inventive anyway, turning the everyday into something for more imaginative and fun. If you want your own photo invaded, you can tag it with the hashtag #iwanttobeinvaded and hope for the best.
