Bride Replaces Wedding Bouquets With Rescue Puppies For The Cutest Bridal Party Photoshoot

When it comes to weddings it's traditional to get a photo of the bride with her bridesmaids, all of them holding the bouquets that have been carefully selected and anguished over in the previous months' preparations. But for one couple bouquets weren't quite cutting it.

Newlyweds Sarah and Matt Crain, from Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania decided that their photos would be much better (and definitely cuter) if they replaced flowers with rescue puppies. The couple used a litter of pups from Pitties.Love.Peace, who find forever homes for neglected and mistreated dogs, mostly pitbulls.

Sarah works for the non-profit organisation and thought it would be a great idea to showcase the animals while also making for a memorable photoshoot. “My days are spent rescuing, training or rehabilitating dogs so it only seemed fitting that I needed to include some on our big day,” the bride told The Huffington Post.

Sarah posed with a nine-week-old pitbull puppy while the bridesmaids and groomsmen took turns posing with five boxer-coonhound sisters. And they all look like they thoroughly enjoyed it.

Photographer for the shoot Caroline Logan thought it was a great idea too. "Who needs bouquets when you have puppies," she told InsideEdition.com. "Her [Sarah's] heart for rescue pups is obvious and she now gets to share that with Matt as they start their lives together as husband and wife with several fur-babies already a part of their family, making life extra sweet."

Logan also noted that the puppies were a great way to get the bridesmaids and groomsmen to relax, making for very natural-looking, fun-loving photos. Plus, the pups didn't chew on any dresses or urinate on a groomsman's leg, so that's a bonus.
