Awesome Dad Turns His Kids (And The Dog) Into Superheroes With Coffee Mugs
Being a parent comes with it's responsibilities, but who says you can't have a little fun at your children's (and family dog's) expense now and again, as long as it's all appropriate and safe of course. And that's exactly what Lance Curran, a creative dad from Mount Prospect, Illinois has done with his kids.
Using some clever camera angles and some superhero and pop-culture figure themed mugs Curran holds them at just the right place in front his children’s faces and transforms them into cool big-headed heroes.
Simple as that.
Take a look at some of our favorite examples below then head over to Lance's Instagram page and you'll see that he's been doing this for a while and it all seems to take place around breakfast time, even the poor family dog gets drawn into the fun and who wouldn't, the results look adorable and lots of fun.
According to NBC Chicago, "Curran takes the superhero business seriously in his work as well. He is a co-creator of Chicago-based Arcade Brewery, which combines the founders' love for comics with their love for craft beer. The result is a beer bottle that drinkers may not want to throw out. The owners employ comic book artists and writers to help design the beer label and packaging."
