CrazyYourMom Instagram Account Collates All Those Hilarious And Embarrassing Mom-Texts People Get Sent
We've all got those texts from our mom. You know the ones. The weird requests, the strange queries, the panicked questions, the inappropriate lifestyle and/or career suggestions. The bizarre ideas that she wants to get your opinion on. The sudden CAPS LOCK that comes out of nowhere, the IT support desk questions, the random insults, and the backhanded compliments.
Well, now they've all been gathered together in one place, thanks to Kate Siegel.
Siegel has some experience when it comes to getting crazy mom-texts, as she's the author of the Instagram account CrazyJewishMom—a place where she entertains the Insta-masses with screengrabs of texts from her Jewish mother.
No doubt realising that baffling and amusing texts from one's mother was a universal occurrence in the Age of the Smartphone, she started up another Instagram, CrazyYourMom.
On this account she collates screengrabs from texts submitted to her by anyone and everyone. And they're very funny, and show that you're not alone when it comes to weird text messages from the mothership.
