Amazing, Creepy, And Surreal 3D Body Art Optical Illusions By Japanese Artist Hikaru Cho
Have you ever wondered if people notice the time and patience you put into your make-up when you are out at work, a party, or attending a social event? It's difficult really know unless someone actually remarks on it and i'm sure some of us women sometimes wonder if it's worth all the effort?
Well, you could possibly go for something a bit more radical that will definitely get you noticed and try some of these amazing techniques, but maybe you'll end up getting the kind of attention you didn't set out to achieve.
But you have to admit these seriously stand out.
Hikaru Cho is Tokyo-based artist who creates wonderful, and very trippy, 3D body art illusions using nothing but her ingenuity and some acrylic paint. Works include a woman with four eyes, a head that appears to be severed from its body, an arm with batteries in, and other weirdness.
The 22-year-old artist has created campaigns for Amnesty International and Samsung. Speaking about her work she says, "It all began when I wanted to paint something at home and I looked around for something to paint on, I couldn't be bothered to look hard so I used my hand and painted an eye on it that turned out to be quite freaky. So I took a picture and when I showed that to people they were very shocked."
Indeed. And you'll likely be equally shocked and wowed by her images, which you can check out below. You can find more of her work on her website.
