'Deadpool' Trailer Has Finally Arrived And It's Very NSFW, Very Violent, And Very Entertaining
After footage showing Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool leaked, 20th Century Fox listened to the fans' enthusiasm and so the Deadpool movie was thrown into existence. That was back in July 2014 and now just over a year later we have the first trailer for the film, due out February 2016.
And, going by the trailer, this isn't going to be your normal Marvel movie. It's going to be a lot funnier, more gruesome, twisted, and adult. And that's a good thing, because it looks thoroughly entertaining.
The movie tells Deadpool's origin story, which involves Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson who has terminal cancer undergoing an experiment which gives him super-quick-healing powers.
And so Deadpool, the wise-cracking anti-hero, is born.
The movie then follows him as he shoots three bad guys in the head with one bullet, plus numerous other elaborate headshots and bloody violence as he tracks down the man who destroyed his life. And makes with the witty one-liners while he does it.
So remember people - 'With great power, comes great irresponsibility'.
In the lead up to the trailer, and no doubt the movie's release next year too, Reynolds' social media game has been on-point. Teasing out shots of himself in costume with fun lines that have served to endure him to fans and keep interest at a peak.
Here's some of those.

Not nearly as profound as watching underwater lava... but if you stare at this electronic fire long enough, you'll eventually have no idea you're peeing.
