Disney Characters Invade 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' Trailers In This Awesome Mashup
When Disney acquired Lucasfilm back in 2012, there was no indication that characters from Disney's back catalogue would appear in the galaxy far, far away. There still isn't, but that's not going to stop the internet from attempting it themselves.
YouTubers Pistol Shrimps have done an amazing job of placing Disney characters into the Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailers. And you can tell a lot of thought, time, and effort have gone into making it.
From Dumbo flying with the X-wings to Scar looking out upon an imperial army of hyenas, and Olaf taking a nasty headshot from Captain Phasma.
There's an awful lot packed into it, and it also cleverly uses James Earl Jones' voiceover from The Lion King, where he voiced good guy Mufasa, over the shot of the damaged Vader mask, where he voiced bad guy Vader.
Cunning.
There's a whole bunch of other references too, so many you'll probably want to watch this a few times.
