Disney Reimagine 'Finding Nemo As Told by Emoji' In This Adorable Animation
People have a love-hate relationship with emojis, you are either someone who refuses to use them because you think it lessens the point you are trying to make, or you feel they add extra meaning you what you are trying to say. Either way you can't deny that they are part of the social media culture and can be downright useful.
No matter what you think of emojis, they're certainly put to adorable use in this animation by Disney. It's part of their 'As Told by Emoji' series and it creatively condenses the Disney/Pixar 2003 classic into under three minutes.
Characters and events become emojis as the narrative of the movie is neatly summarized including all the iconic scenes, just redone within the parameters of a mobile phone interface.
There's Nemo getting caught, Marlin and Dory meeting up, their encounter with the sharks and the anglerfish, up to and including with their trip to Sydney and the happy reunion between father and son.
It's actually very cleverly done with the brightness bar, copy and paste, and those three dots that mean someone's replying all put to good use.
The video comes ahead of the sequel to Finding Nemo, Finding Dory, which is out later this month.
And it follows on from previous reimaginings in the series which include Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Aladdin, and Frozen. All of which will tug at your heartstrings.
