Donald Trump Announces His Presidential Bid And The Internet Reacts By Mercilessly Mocking Him
After Jeb Bush's presidential bid was met with internet mockery, we now seem to have Jeb 2.0 as billionaire toupée-wearer Donald Trump has announced his own stab at nomination, joining Bush as a potential Republican candidate for the 2016 White House race.
Naturally an announcement like that was going to be met with ridicule, and that's exactly what happened.
It didn't help that he made a rambling 40-minute speech where he confirmed that he's really rich, that he can make websites for $3, and pretty much ostracised a large portion of voters by making racist statements.
It was certainly entertaining to listen to, and he's a gift to comedians (Jon Stewart was particularly enthused noting "America’s id is running for president! This speech was so f*cked up that in the middle of it, all the liquid in his body tried to escape from the corner of his mouth."), but president? No, surely no.
Before he could even finish saying “I am officially running for president of the United States,” he was unknowingly presenting the internet with plenty of fuel to make with the hilarity.
Even the democrats couldn't resist making a sarcastic remark.
