Fashion Illustrator Edgar Artis Uses Seaweed, Paper Clips, Even Bacon To Create Elaborate Dress Designs
Many of us from a young age are told not to play with our food, but these extremely clever and stylish dress designs by Armenian illustrator Edgar Artis prove otherwise.
Artist Artis draws female figures and then gets creative when it comes to making garments for them. From pomegranate seeds to burnt paper and bacon, no matter how unusual the material he manages to create something intricate and stunning.
Sometimes the illustrator doesn't even use a material, instead he just cuts out the dress shape and holds it against the sky. Or a window pane. Or an autumnal tree. Or a fire. Still he manages to make it look incredible.
If you were wondering if he does any clothes for guys, he also does men's coats too, using his cut-out style to create innovative concoctions.
