Joel McHale’s Hilarious Speech at White House Correspondents’ Dinner

It’s an annual tradition at the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner for the prez to slam the press, mock his rivals, himself, Donald Trump and anyone else he cares to.

So you can imagine what a tough act to follow it must be to come after Obama making with the lolz while everyone laughs like putty in his hands.

But Joel McHale stepped up to the gauntlet admirably.

As host of the dinner he pretty much nailed it and wasn’t afraid to make close-to-the-bone jokes, like noting Obama’s failure to close Gitmo and also remarking on why Hillary Clinton would make for an awesome president.
