Celebrity Fight Of the Day: Iggy Azalea And Snoop Dogg Are Having An Epic Beef On Social Media
It's 2014, which means that two superstars from the world of entertainment can play out their—somewhat immature on Snoop's part—bickering across public platforms so the world can see them ridicule and mock one another for no apparent reason.
It all seemed to start a few days ago when Snoop mocked Azalea's appearance on Instagram after a photo of her with no makeup was featured in the media.
It's moments like these that make you realize you really do like gossip, rumour, newsfeeds, Tweets, Instagram posts and anything else that might come to hand when two celebrities have a fight—this, ladies and gentlemen, is what the internet was really invented for. Shame on us all.
(There is an update on this story, scroll to the bottom to find out.)
The initial insult from Snoop D seems to have come from nowhere and Azalea responded by slamming The Doggfather for mocking her. The tweets were deleted, but this being the internet (and some choice entertainment) there's a screengrab below.
Which is a fair response from Iggy considering he started it for no reason. But Snoop took to Instagram to hurl some more insults, including comparing her to Marlon from White Chicks and dressing up like her and lots more posts that seems like he doth protest way too much.
So says Todd cool out lil sis he was only jokin Sike. Ubitchu !!
Now I said what I said bitch now let it go before I go all in on ya pink punk ass yeah u bitch !!
And u were saying ????
Ok last one n Imma leave the bitch alone!! Hahahahahah So says Todd
Azalea responded to this second wave of insults on Twitter, but has since deleted all but one of the posts, which is below.
She's makes a fair point.
UPDATE: Snoop has taken to Instagram to make a publicly apology for his—let's be honest—pretty shameful behavior.
It's over I'm bac on my cool shit no harm no foul. #ifitaintaboutthe???much love @troubleman31t respect sorry bout that
And the real hero of the story? None other than Snoop's man Tip, the King of Atlanta aka T.I. aka the voice of reason who made Snoop see sense and do the right thing.
