After #TheDress The Internet Loses It's Hive Mind Again Trying To Match A Nail Polish To #TheShoe

Regrettably we all remember #TheDress which was blue. Or gold. Or white. Or whatever color your brain/screen/mood/the dirt in your eye decided it was.

It was responsible for breaking the internet back in February 2015 and if you were one of the few (lucky) people who missed it you must have been in a coma, or abducted by aliens.

Well now there's a new illusion in internet town demanding your attention and demanding you make a decision.

Welcome to the newest focus of your online social life, #TheShoe - or #TheNailPolish - You decide what hashtag will become the bane of your social life over the next few weeks?

Then share that decision on social media so we can all get preoccupied with it, lose time, friends, our jobs, our homes, everything.

This time it involves two different shades of nail polish and a shoe. It all started with Twitter user @totallymendes who asked her followers "Which color matches the shoes the best."

And with that she started a twitter storm as people began to weigh in on what color they thought looked the most similar. Dividing the nation, and no doubt the world, into lefties, righties, and those who are saying just mix both colors together for God's sake and save us all.

@totallymendes has until Sunday to decide which color to go with.

It's being referred to as #TheShoe and people are already freaking out that it's ALL HAPPENING AGAIN just like with #TheDress.

While some people think they've solved it.
