Kim Kardashian Posts Nude Selfie, Breaks Internet, Twitter And Gets Trolled By Bette Midler
Kim Kardashian must have been taking lessons from her husband in how to provoke reactions from people on Twitter. On Monday Kim posted a nude selfie which had two very strategically placed black bars covering her modesty with the line "When you're like I have nothing to wear LOL."
The tweet has since been retweeted over 100,000 times and people, ranging from celebrities (Bette Midler and Chloë Grace Moretz to name a few) to norms, have attacked and applauded Mrs West. Some people were of the "Go girl!" camp while others thought it was demeaning and not what a mom should be posting.
Everyone seemed to have an opinion on the matter and since the whole twitterstorm erupted a few days ago, Kim has defended herself, attacked those who attacked her, posted another nude selfie, written a blog post, and joined Snapchat (although that appears to be unrelated).
It's basically been a busy few days for her.
Here's the selfie that started it all.
Here's some people hating on Kim for posting it.
As if Monday mornings weren't bad enough Kim K appears on my news feed with her minge out again! ?? someone buy that woman clothes! ?
And here's some celebs hating on Kim for posting it.
I truly hope you realize how important setting goals are for young women, teaching them we have so much more to offer than-
Kim Kardashian tweeted a nude selfie today. If Kim wants us to see a part of her we've never seen, she's gonna have to swallow the camera.
I know the old man's $50 million in debt, Kim - but this is absurd. Want me to buy you some clothes?
Kim responded at first pretty tamely.
I'm flattered some of u guys thought my post earlier was a recent pic! That was my blonde moment a year ago & 25lbs less! #MondayMotivation
But then, something must have snapped because later on she changed her tack, even responding to the celebrities directly.
sorry I'm late to the party guys I was busy cashing my 80 million video game check & transferring 53 million into our joint account ??????
hey I really didn't want to bring up how you sent me a gift awhile back trying to be a fake friend then come at me #dejavu
But that wasn't it, because it was almost like she got to the door, opened it, was just about to leave and then thought, you know what, f*ck you, and she fired off another nude.
Then later on possibly realising it was International Women's Day (#HappyInternationalWomen’sDay) she wrote a blog post calling out the body-shamers and reposted her original selfie nude.
Since Kim hit back at them both Bette Midler and Chloë Grace Moretz have responded.
.: I never tried to fake friend you. Looks like anyone can take a selfie but not everyone can take a joke...
There's a huge difference in respecting the platform that you're given as a celebrity and "slut shaming" something I never have done and -
The end (hopefully).
