Lego Minifigs Come To Life In Fantastic Images That Bring The Characters Into The Real World
French photographer Samsofy adds a little bit of childlike magic to the world with this photography series, which mixes Lego with real life.
He uses minifigs and sets them up in street scenes or with real world objects, creating fun juxtapositions that hint at a secret world where Lego characters come to life. There are plenty of nods to famous movies too.
It's something many of us have probably done as a kid, so it's great to see Samsofy create these scenes using his skills, and wit, as a photographer.
"I am a French photographer born in 1981, and I began my work by photographing extreme sports in urban areas." he says on Bored Panda. "Influenced by geek culture, my artistic approach is now focused on small LEGO® characters. My work combines the techniques of photography, street art, model making and installations; in my created microcosms, I play with scale and material to alter perception."
