Incredible Limbless Dancer Wows The Audience At This Kaysville High School Half Time Performance

Former high schooler Gabe Adams is an inspiration, the 17-year-old was born without arms or legs but hasn't let that get in the way of him becoming a fantastic dancer.

Adopted by Janelle and Ron Adams and brought to Utah as a baby after his Brazilian mother gave him up at birth, his passion for dance started when, at 12 years old he taught himself a hip hop routine and gave a performance in his seventh grade talent show at Davis High School.

"I got into dancing because I wanted to prove to myself and other people around me that there was more to me than the kid that was in the wheelchair or the kid who didn't have an extra activity to do and stuff like that." Adams told KSL.com.

He knows that, as a limbless dancer, people are going to stare but he doesn't care because he enjoys the sensation it gives him, and hopes to be joining a competitive dance group soon, after his time spent as part of the Davis Dance Team.

"I love the feel that I get from (dancing) ... I can be free and be who I am and express my emotions and feelings through it all and come out as a completely different person after the performance," said Adams.

Janelle Adams, Gabe's mother, said it's "really awesome and surprising" to see her son thrive in dancing.
