My Little Pony Dolls Get A Mad Max Makeover—And The Result Is Pretty Terrifying - #Bronies

You might not immediately associate the post-apocalyptic steampunk dust-world of Mad Max: Fury Road with the kids (and bronie) cartoon My Little Pony, they have about as much in common as Nicolas Cage choosing a good film role, or Westboro Baptist Church supporting gay marriage.

But artist and Tumblr user SaveTheWailes has bridged that gap, by creating a range of Mad Max-styled My Little Pony toys.

The artist has used MLP figures, polymer clay, acrylic, leather, and faux fur to create these nightmarish hybrids that are definitely twisted but also rather brilliant.

Writing on his Tumblr the artist says, "Mad Max Fury Road Ponies: Because I am a monster. They were super fun to make and super horrifying (I’m looking at you, Immortan Joe)."

If you fancy purchasing them, or pranking your kid by slyly placing one in their MLP doll collection, they're being sold at AwesomeCon which on this weekend, at exhibitor booth 1009.
