These Memes Showing How Different People Shower Are Awash In Humorous Cultural Stereotypes

Ever wondered how different countries or types of people shower? You probably haven't because why the hell would you? But, if you did ponder such a question these images might help answer it.

We say might because, well, they're not meant to be based on fact but instead are a humorous look at how various nations and people shower based on overriding stereotypes.

It all started when an English guy called Arthur posted a Vine titled "How British People Shower." It featured Arthur in the shower looking at the camera before he says "Same as you, you idiot. First we get nice and wet. Then we get the tea bags..." and he reaches for some teabags placed on a shelf.

The gag has since inspired lots of variations ranging from Canadians to Californians, Indians, zombies, Pokemon trainers, and many, many others.

All of them follow the same set up then the punchline, but instead of teabags it plays on whatever cultural stereotype is associated with that country or state or person or whatever.

They're pretty offensive, but they're mostly done by the country or person who's the butt of the joke, so that should at least make you feel a little better for laughing at them. Plus, no one comes out of it looking good—equality has never looked so insulting.
