Mr Nice Guy Ed Sheeran Surprises Fan Singing His Song At The Mall With Spontaneous Duet

Ed Sheeran continued to prove he's the nicest guy in showbiz by surprising a young fan singing his song "Thinking Out Loud." The girl was performing it as part of a charity fundraiser for the local Human Society at West Edmonton Mall in Alberta, Canada.

13-year-old Sydney Bourbeau was halfway through her performance when Ed walked out of a nearby HMV store, took to the stage, and started duetting with her in a spontaneous act of Ed Sheeran-ness.

If you're wondering why Bourbeau's initial reaction was slightly muted, it's because her eyes wouldn't let her believe it was actually Ed—instead she thought it was somebody who'd just come to fix her microphone.

“I was like, should I stop? I didn’t want to stop, but I wanted to talk to him,” Bourbeau told the Edmonton Journal. “This is, like, the best thing that’s ever happened to me."

Ed's cousin Murray Cummings made the recording (hey Murray, turn your phone the other way around!) and after uploading it to YouTube made a little joke on Twitter.

Ed's kindness didn't stop there either, because later that day his manager texted Bourbeau inviting her to the singer's Sunday night concert which was taking place in a local venue. What. A. Guy.
