Nazi Zombies Ride Flying Sharks In The Trailer For The Ridiculous Looking Movie 'Sky Sharks'
If you like your films to be on the ridiculous side then this trailer for Sky Sharks should satisfy your cravings. It screams cult and features flying sharks ridden by undead superhuman nazis.
The plot runs like this, back in WWII the nazis created a secret aerial weapon, flying goddamn sharks with mounted machine guns, which are then discovered by a team of geologists in the Antarctic.
Once discovered these airborne terrors then set about wreaking havoc across the world, swooping down on cities and attacking little girls on planes. Under attack from such abominations the government realise there's only thing that can save the world, a team of reanimated US soldiers who died in Vietnam. Because, of course!
The film was funded via Kickstarter and is directed by Marc Fehse and stars, among others, Candyman himself, actor Tony Todd.
Here's what the filmmakers say about why they decided to make this crazy movie:
With SKY SHARKS it is our intent to create the ultimate cult movie - unlike any seen before, that will capture the hearts, minds, and souls of genre film fans around the world. Additionally, Germany in the early 1920s was the cradle of horror films, but over the decades it has passed into oblivion. Today it's carving out a miserable existence. Our hope with SKY SHARKS is to not only make a great horror film, but to help put Germany back on the horror-making map.
