People Are Taking A Massive Dump Over A Poster Of A Banker With Some Hilarious Toilet Humor
Over in London, England posters were put up on the city's subway system by the Chartered Banker Institute to inform people that it was launching its Young Banker of the Year 2016 award and encouraging interested parties to tweet using the hashtag #CBRiseAboveTheRest.
So far, so innocuous.
BUT one of the posters featured a young banker who was squatting over the city of London and, well, he looks like he's squatting to drop off a couple of friends at the pool. The pool being the capital of England.
Naturally such an advertising faux pas couldn't just be left to go unnoticed and uncommented on by people.
So they took to twitter to make some jokes, or basically the same joke, giving the Young Banker of the Year 2016 award some exposure, but not the kind they expected.
Still, people are going to take up any excuse to ridicule bankers.
It does make you wonder though—who the hell OK'd the shit advert in the first place?
Anyway, here's the original image.
And here's some of the fun.
Fuck whoever thought this ad was a good idea. “what if, right, a giant banker was taking a literal shit on the city”
'Oh young banker, rise above the rest so you can crap on them from above' Add your caption using #CBRiseAboveTheRest
#CBRiseAboveTheRest I may have altered the poster so that it accurately reflects the role of investment banking.
"Banker of the year" poster features a giant hipster defecating on the city. Odd choice. #CBriseabovetherest.
