Prankster Writes Hilarious Fake Reviews For Furniture And Plants Them In His Local IKEA Store
Lets face it, when you have plucked up the courage to attempt an expedition to Ikea it's not long before you start wondering why it seemed like a good idea to go there in the first place. Minutes turn into hours and the exit always seems to get further away the more you try to reach it.
Add to that the fact that none of the names for their furniture make any sense and are impossible to remember, and as your energy drains you prey to the Sweedish gods for any sign of some light relief to get you through your consumer nightmare journey.
Well, your prayers have been answered, In-store prankster extraordinaire Obvious Plant (aka Jeff Wysaski ) is back with another hilarious stunt. This time the dreaded IKEA store is the target for his tomfoolery.
He's taken to writing in-store reviews for the Swedish furniture store's offerings, and then placing them next to the items along with a "customer's" name.
He then photographs the product and the review and posts them to his Tumblr.
The reviews are brilliant and it's extra great because you can take it as a small victory for all those times you spent a terrible Sunday afternoon trapped in IKEA cursing their hateful one-way system.
