'Rogue One: A Star Wars Story' Gets Turned Into An Outlandish Spoof In This Weird Trailer

If you're a Star Wars fan you've no doubt seen the latest trailer for the standalone movie Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Set in the Star Wars universe it centers around a group recruited by the Rebel Alliance to steal the Death Star plans. As such it proceeds the events of Star Wars: A New Hope.

However, in this very ridiculous trailer YouTuber Aldo Jones has made it into something far more, well, bizarre. Jones is a VFX artist whose series Weird Trailers takes trailers for blockbuster movies and adds in lots of crazy references, visual gags, and goofy sound effects.

As a taste of the kind of leftfield humor on offer, in this Rogue One trailer Forrest Whittaker's character has been replaced by ALF, the alien puppet from the 80s sitcom.

But it's not just ALF who's been inserted in, the Hulk's there too, the Planet Express from Futurama, Deadpool makes appearances, Christopher Reeve's Superman, Shrek, and loads more. Jones also messes with the features of the actors and spaceships too. Felicity Jones' character has extra eyes, an AT-AT spawns a mouth and spits back a rocket. It has to be seen, really.
