So for now we'll have to make do with this fanmade trailer from YouTuber Alex Luthor, who uses his Jedi-like editing skills to splice together footage from the Star Trek and Star Wars films to make a trailer for The Greatest Movie Never Made.

Who knows, if Disney and Paramount get desperate enough in a future where ever more elaborate collaborations are needed to draw people into the cinema and away from torrenting, a Star Trek Vs. Star War movie might be made.
