Sea Wars—Nerds From The US Navy Have Made A Brilliant ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ Parody

There have been A LOT of Star Wars: The Force Awakens parodies, but none of them have included real jets and members of the US Navy. Until now.

The crew of aircraft carrier the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (aka "Ike") have geeked out to the max to make a Navy-themed remake of the very first The Force Awakens teaser trailer. They've titled it Sea Wars: The Ike Awakens.

Instead of the BB-8 droid we get a mop bucket on wheels, and instead of X-wings and the Millennium Falcon we get Naval aircraft speeding across the skies.

There is, however, still Kylo Ren's crossguard lightsaber and some Tie fighters.

Let's hope they were added in post, otherwise the US Navy has just revealed some secret weapons the public weren't aware of.

Anyway, it's a brilliant remake and perfectly mimics the tense, snappy atmosphere of the original.
