It's a timely reminder of what a great show The Simpsons is—or maybe was. Because now it's confirmed that Harry Shearer has left—the man who voiced Ned Flanders ("Stupid sexy Flanders!"), Mr. Burns, Principal Skinner, Otto, Smithers and loads more—it really does feel like the show is at the end of an era.

How can it continue with the loss of such iconic and beloved characters? HOW?
