Transgender Woman Spends $76,000 On Surgery In Her Quest To Achieve Perfection(?)

Fulvia Pellegrino is on a quest for bodily perfection. And the transgender woman doesn't mind spending $76,000 to achieve that goal, which is what she's spent so far.

The 56-year-old from Italy is not finished yet either. With the full support of her wife she's had 150 lip and cheekbone fillers, four breast implants, and two rounds of liposuction. $13,000 has been spent on her butt alone.

Pellegrino realised she was transgender at the age of 15, but came from a very religious family so kept it as a secret for many years. She married her wife Marisa, who was unaware, but in 2000 she told her and Marisa eventually came to accept it.

After a full transition Pellegrino says that her and Marisa are more like sisters now than husband and wife. Pellegrino, however, has been shunned in the Italian town of Peveragno where she lives, and says without the support of Marisa she couldn't continue with her surgery.

Pellegrino's style icon is Allanah Starr, an American transgender porn star, and she says there's work to be done yet before she achieves her desired look. "I won’t stop here, I want to go ahead because it’s not perfect." she tells Barcroft TV. "If I reach perfection maybe I will stop."
