YouTube Release A Heartwarming Gay Pride Video Celebrating Marriage Equality #LoveWins
Following the Supreme Court's historic ruling last week, which affirmed same-sex marriage as a right, and the victorious rainbow-colored Gay Pride parades that took place across the globe over the weekend, YouTube released a heartwarming video to celebrate marriage equality and equal rights.
Called #ProudToLove it will make you feel all the feels with its compilation of various people coming out to their parents or proposing to their partners, commemorating the right of LGBT people to be open about who they are without discrimination or bullying or fear.
Some are celebrities, some are YouTube personalities, and all of them affirm that the US has taken a huge step in the right direction with the gay marriage ruling.
The president himself said it was a "victory for America" and that "When all Americans are treated as equal, we are all more free."
The well-timed Gay Pride Parades that took place in New York and San Francisco, and across the US and world, became a celebration of the ruling with joyous marchers chanting, partying and flying the rainbow flag in triumph.
Even The Empire State Building and World Trade Center One joined in.
Over the weekend, the Empire State Building and World Trade Center One were lit up to celebrate #Pride.
The internet also reacted to the Supreme Court legalizing same-sex marriage across every state in the only way it knows how, by photoshopping Supreme Court justices with rainbow robes, unicorns and other ridiculous stuff.
