"SEAGULLS! (Stop It Now)"- Yoda Sings A Hilarious Bad Lip Reading Of The Empire Strikes Back
In The Empire Strikes Back Yoda trains Luke in the ways of the Force when young Skywalker visits him in the remote swamps of the Dagobah system. It's a pivotal moment in Luke's journey to becoming a Jedi.
In this very funny Bad Lip Reading version of those scenes things are very different indeed. For starters, Yoda is an all-singin', all dancin' grandmaster who regales and bemuses Luke with a song about seagulls. Seagulls who won't stop attacking Yoda when he takes a stroll down the beach.
“Everyone told me not to stroll on that beach,” chirps Yoda. “Said seagulls gonna come poke me in the coconut.” Fair enough. Occasionally Luke gets to duet with the wise green one who laments about running away from those pesky seagulls, only to fall over and get laughed at by kids. Poor Yoda, don't they know who he is?
The vid also features the scene when Yoda's on Luke's back and, of course, Yoda sings about being Luke's backpack while he runs and climbs.
It's all very silly, but that's the point. YouTube channel Bad Lip Reading have pushed the boat out on this one and the tune itself is the type that will have you tapping your foot without even knowing it.
Then, later in the day, the ditty will creep into your mind as you hum along to the chorus line of "SEAGULLS! (Stop It Now)."
